The German photographer was first trained as a graphic designer, he has a penchant not just for pretty pictures, but also images that communicate with boldness and clarity. Working a lot in the advertising and editorial field, Jan has worked for some of the most prestigious automobile brands.

“I try to understand the idea of the picture, or even provide an idea if it is personal work,” he says, “I judge everything I do, by asking me if it helps with the idea or not.”
